The first domestic 120 cubic meter ultra-low temperature storage tank technology achievement has been appraised

Recently, the technology achievement appraisal meeting for the "Key Technologies for Design and Manufacturing of 120 cubic meter Ultra Low Temperature Storage Tanks" developed by the engineering construction company was held in Kashgar, Xinjiang. The expert group unanimously recognized that the complete technology and equipment have reached the international advanced level, marking a major technological breakthrough in China's ultra-low temperature storage tank field.
It is reported that this is the first set of 120 cubic meter ultra-low temperature storage tanks in China. After three years of technical research and development, the R&D team has independently broken through key core technologies such as ultra-low temperature storage tank design, manufacturing, and efficient injection. This storage tank can adapt to a minimum temperature range of minus 269 degrees Celsius, with a geometric volume of 129.4 cubic meters and a filling capacity of 109.6 cubic meters during on-site testing. Key materials, valves, instruments, etc. have achieved 100% localization.
This research and development has resulted in 18 invention patents, 15 technical secrets, and led the development of 9 industry standards. Compared with traditional equipment, this ultra-low temperature storage tank significantly shortens the loading time, reduces the gasification amount during the loading process, achieves efficient operation of ultra-low temperature liquids from storage to transportation, effectively reduces production energy consumption, and will be widely used in fields such as cryogenic storage and energy storage and transportation, providing technical support for the high-quality development of related industries.
